Answer 👉 To be protected from night blindness, we should eat foods that contain vitamin A like green vegetables, ripe fruits, carrots, pumpkin, stinging nettle, milk, ghee, fish, liver, etc.


c. Write any five ways to be prevented from malnutrition.

Answer 👉  Five ways to be prevented from malnutrition are:

  • Eating a balanced diet containing carbohydrates, protein, fats, vitamins, and minerals.
  • Eating fresh fruits and vegetables, and avoiding junk food.
  • Drinking enough water to keep the body hydrated.
  • Breastfeeding infants for at least two years.
  • Getting vaccinated against communicable diseases.


d. Write any five things to be paid attention to while cooking food.

Answer 👉 Five things to be paid attention to while cooking food are:

  • Do not waste the water used to wash the rice or gruel, put it in pulse or cooked vegetables. 
  • Avoid eating stale food.
  • Do not cook green vegetables for a long time.
  • Do not put too much spice and oil in food.
  • Cut the vegetables and fruits only after washing them properly with clean water.
